Gliding from sand to sea, the Yelena Dress captures the journey of light into depth—a radiant memory woven in motion. Crafted from 2/26 Mohair and 2/20 Merino Wool, it was knit using both a hand-operated 7-gauge Brother flatbed machine and a Stoll 10-gauge machine with the M1 Plus program. I hand-dyed the ombré effect using a continuous spray bottle and fabric dye, then added dimension with hand-embroidered chain stitches in varying shades of turquoise. I’m deeply grateful to my professors, family, and loved ones for their unwavering support throughout this process. It has been an incredible honor to showcase my design in FIT's Future of Fashion BFA Exhibition.
